“Ma’am, how to come out of sadness?”

A helpless ask and two keen eyes chasing my mind that night. I was about to finish my call with a fresh teen of 15…..

Too early to ask these question, that’s what you are thinking…? not at all, let me tell you, not at all. Just after a day i received the same question from a13 years and a 45 years person!

Sadness doesn’t have any age…

Sufferings don’t have any age…and nowadays it just pounced on the teenage minds with utmost spread….

I also become sad.

You, too. Everyone.

What’s the difference between sadness & sufferings?

Sadness is the emotion triggered by any incident, conversation or by some activity, right?

Suffering is the carrying of sadness prolong………..

in the mind.

Can you avoid sadness, pain?

Can anyone do?

I bet, no.

Suffering?

It’s your decision. Yes……

your choice……

You can’t avoid suffering, you can STOP it.

Avoidance brings it back.

I was just thinking, why the spread of suffering , depression so high nowadays?

Thousands finger will point out media, fast life, screen attachment, loneliness……which are external and mostly unavoidable!

Are we missing something in our life?

Recall, when you were young,

1. Some bairagees used to come with their ektara(one string instrument) to your door…..your mom probably used to bring some rice, dal and potato in a thali and put it into his jhola with a smile , or your dad used to bring out a coin and asked you to give it to him……..young you used to go close with this coin and big eyes andfinally he used to give a big smile to you! Your child is MISSING that smile, that GIVING!

2. Your mom, however busy she was, in the evening used to put diyas in front of home-Goddess. How many of your children are familiar with regular prayer…irrespective of religion we are slowly forgetting the culture of sitting in front of our God with closed eyes…..if you don’t believe in God, you can argue, but i am talking about the daily simplicity of confession, submission and faith…..

If I start recalling the list will go on…

What I am trying to say,

AREN’T WE FORGETTING TO SOW THE BEAUTIFUL SEEDS IN OUR MIND GARDEN REGULARLY AND TO REMOVE THE WEEDS?

I will talk about 5 beautiful seeds that help me and number of my trainees to remove the weed from their mind garden…

Sow them regularly, consciously, help your child to sow these seeds regularly , habitually……and see the difference in you, in them ,today and tomorrow….

It’s not remedy , it’s prevention.
